I absolutely love the first pair of dreampairs cold weather boots that I bought. I bought my first pair and wore them every cold day. Those boots (the taller ones shown) are still going strong and I still love them. These shorter boots, I was so anxious for the style, and I love the way they feel and look - they're amazing! However, Within 2 or 3 weeks, the new dreampairs boots (the shorter, lighter grey) boots started to crack and open where my toes bend.. Cold air and water get in through this hole, and they don't look so pretty anymore. Shame, because I love them and haven't gotten to wear them much. I don't know if it's a poor design, or what, but they didn't hold up to walking for any length of time. I'm worried, because I also bought my mother a pair of these for Christmas, and my son's girlfriend a different pair. I believed in the name on the shoes because of my last pair that are still amazing. I have not tried to contact the company yet for a solution, so I will update according to how that is handled.
